Children’s Residential Care Service – Your loved one matters to us
Children can have a tough time growing up, even when they’re under the watchful eye of a foster care home or a social services caretaker. They can also be difficult to deal with. All they need is a push in the right direction and this is where we come in.
Signum House is a haven for 11-17 year olds who are going through a difficult time in their lives – offering a cosy, friendly, and welcoming environment to help children and young adults feel right at home.
About Us
As an independent residential care children’s service, we are known for providing the highest quality of service, where a safe environment for children helps them develop normally and discover their true strengths. We’re guided strongly by our moral compass, ensuring that both children and young people who are emotionally and/or mentally challenged in their lives have a nurturing, safe, warm, and welcoming environment that they can truly call “home”.

Signum House – A virtual tour of the premises
At Signum House, our number one priority is to provide a safe, warm, friendly, and productive environment for children as well as young people between the ages of 11 and 17. Some children, unfortunately, do not get the chance to experience a ‘normal’ childhood or live through traumatic experiences which stunt their intellectual, emotional, mental, and in some cases, even physical growth.
Our care home for children is nestled beautifully in a cosy and welcoming property – a quiet residential area in Henlow, Bedfordshire. From a distance, our children’s care home looks like any piece of property, but as you walk closer for a better view, you’ll find a side entrance leading to a driveway which can easily accommodate up to two vehicles.

Our Story
Signum House is nestled beautifully in Henlow, a village and civil parish in Bedfordshire, which is a beautiful pavilion for young people can lose themselves in, engaging in sports, long walks, and other exciting outdoor activities.
Within a 10-mile radius is a children’s farm, pottery centre, cinema, theatre, indoor soft play, swimming pools, leisure centres, an obstacle training ground, and an archery centre. There are many pathways and walkways nearby, with Baulk Wood just a 7-minute drive away and the beautiful Barton Hills Nature Reserve less than a 20-minute drive away.
This is the safe, warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment we have envisioned to help emotionally and mentally challenged children or those who have lived through traumatic experiences, live a normal life.
